Platelet-Rich Plasma differs according to preparation method and human variability
- PRP was separated using three different methods and evaluated for concentration of platelets, red and white blood cells and growth factors. All separation showed an increase in platelet concentration in comparison to native blood however all three variables differed significantly. They showed that variability and dosing should be considered when injecting single or multiple treatments of PRP.
