Clinical outcome of autologous bone marrow aspirate concentrate injection in degenerative arthritis of the knee

  • Forty-one patients and seventy-five knees were diagnosed with degenerative arthritis in a one year period. These subjects underwent a bone marrow concentrate injection. They found that the injection decreased pain and increased function significantly as well as showing that the injection is more effective if done in the earlier-moderate stages of Osteoarthritis.
